JOIN LUCAS FOR A COMMUNITY SAUSAGE SIZZLE!

There’s a big morning of junior soccer coming to Docklands, and Lucas is getting behind the action with a community sausage sizzle at Ron Barassi Snr Park.

On Sunday, 30 August, we’re proud to be supporting the Docklands Athletic FC for a morning that brings together local players, families and the wider Docklands community.

Lucas Is Firing Up the BBQ!

The Lucas team will be firing up the BBQ from 9:00am to 12:00pm, serving up sausages while junior matches take place throughout the morning. Whether you’re coming along to support a player, catch some local soccer or simply grab a snag and say hello, everyone is welcome to join us. Most importantly, every dollar raised from the sausage sizzle will go directly back into Docklands Athletic FC, supporting the club, its players and teams across all levels.

The Lucas Cup

There’ll be plenty happening on the field too, with five matches involving six Docklands teams scheduled throughout the morning. A highlight will come at 11:30am, when two Docklands U7 teams take to the field for the inaugural Lucas Cup. Players from across the club will gather on the sidelines to cheer on the U7s, creating what promises to be a great moment for the youngest players and the wider club community.
