Docklands has always been known for its amazing water views, all the way from Victoria Harbour to Yarra’s Edge. You can’t miss the sun glistening against the water or the boat sails dotted along the harbour, but did you know Docklands is also filled with plenty of family-friendly green spaces?

Over the past week, our Sales Executive and local Docklands resident, Kong Tran explored many of them on his daily walks and today he shares some of his favourites with us!


Docklands Park
Located in the heart of Docklands and adjacent to Marvel Stadium. This area is often filled by people who work in the area, you can imagine how vibrant and busy it can be with business’s like NAB, Myer headquarters along with Aurecon and Infosys nearby. I’ve seen some great matches of soccer and cricket take place between workmates here during lunch breaks.


Point Park
A hidden gem located along the Yarra River on Lorimer Street! Did you know that this was where “Movie Under the Stars” is held? I was lucky enough to secure a spot on the grass last year where I joined many locals. If you haven’t been for a stroll along the Yarra River yet, make sure to check it out to so you can see for yourself what a magical place it is!


Ron Barassi Snr Park
An oval with footy posts and soccer goals, this park caters to a range of activities such as AFL 9s, soccer, touch and modified sports. It is also the home ground of Docklands Sports Club where various activities are held year-round. Located just down the road from where I live, you’ll often find me here exercising - one of the many reasons why I moved to Docklands myself!


Sky Park
Docklands newest addition located at 699 Collins St that’s open on weekdays between 8am and 6pm. An elevated public park perfect as your next chillout destination. Equipped with wi-fi, USB charge points and power outlets, bring your laptop here and work in the sun! I can’t wait to see what kind of vibe this urban park has in stored for us when things return to normality. Definitely a spot that won’t remain a secret for much longer!
