We can't believe the end of the year is almost here! While the shopping centres are packed, the team at Lucas are taking full advantage of the increased activity from buyers and tenants looking to make their final move before putting up their Christmas Trees.

It's been an incredible year, and we thank each and every one of you for supporting our business. We've had a year of milestones, and below, we've put together some of our favourites.

• We started strong, launching into 2024 with our team day at Marvel Stadium, setting the tone for the productive year we’ve had

• In August, Lucas celebrated our inaugural awards night, recognising the highest levels of performance

• In September this year, 6 of our highest-performing, longest serving team members were elevated to ‘Partner’ at LRE

• We’ve received 3,150 rental applications and leased 451 homes, welcoming new apartment dwellers to the inner-city

• Through the sale of 301 properties over the past year, we've received 11,181 new buyer enquiries

• We're setting a fast pace - it typically takes us 16 days to lease a property (a week faster than our competitors) and 25 days to sell a property (2 weeks faster than our competition)

During November & December, we’re anticipating over 60 properties to be sold, and another 90 to be leased – demonstrating that Summer is still one of the most active periods for waterfront suburbs.

In fact, whilst many are taking extended holidays, our team has 30 new properties launching in the first two weeks of January. Managing Director Baden Lucas says: “Our goal is to give sellers an advantage in what is otherwise seen as a quiet time of the year. What many forget is that buyers don’t stop searching. The Christmas break typically sees a lot of ‘window’ shopping, scrolling and enquiry online, and we plan on being there for our owners to capitalise on that.”
