And that’s a wrap!  It’s been a rewarding and often challenging year for the property market in Melbourne, but with the city coming back to life, there is plenty to look forward to in 2022! A friend of mine summed it perfectly “2021 has been the quickest and longest year I can remember!

With every challenge and restriction thrown at us for the best part of the year, our team has done an incredible job of continuing to work with buyers, sellers, landlords and tenants both remotely and with restrictions. We are so proud of the team’s attitude and enthusiasm, and as sales manager, I am grateful for the team’s commitment to achieve the best results possible for our clients.

From January 1 to this final update of 2021, we have proudly sold 210 properties! An incredible achievement in any year let alone in the one just gone. My prediction for the new year is that with the opening of borders, our inner-city apartment market next year will remain steady.

There has been enormous volatility in the housing market, however, apartments continue to be consistent.  Now with yields increasing and demand from first home buyers (who have been priced into the apartment market), I am confident that next year will be a great one.
