OPEN FOR INSPECTIONS RETURN THIS SATURDAY!

And we’re (really) back! For the first time in a very long time, there is a real sense of certainty. Our local favourites are back open and staying open! How we have missed food cooked by proper chefs and a fresh beer from a tap! Even the traffic appears to be back!

From a real estate perspective with the borrowing changes introduced by APRA, October saw an unprecedented number of private inspections conducted by the Lucas team and as a result some outstanding sales for the month of October with 20 apartments sold across Docklands, CBD, South Melbourne and Bayside.

A clear standout sale was concluded by Tom and Cherie in The Nolan building, selling off-market for just shy of $1.2m. A stunning 3-bedroom sub-penthouse with breathtaking views of the CBD through to Port Phillip Bay.

With only 9 weeks until Christmas, there was also an increase of new listings coming to the market with the team successfully bringing on 19 additional properties to market. Pleasingly from this Saturday, we will be also including time allocated Open for Inspections. We welcome buyers back to these and under the guidelines of QR coding which people are accustomed to now, we anticipate this will be the new normal for some time.

Even though this weekend has been traditionally, for some, a 4-day long weekend Lucas will be conducting approximately 40 Open for Inspections and many private appointments pre-registered. We anticipate a very busy weekend meeting prospective buyers across Melbourne.

And naturally if time permits after inspecting our apartments, we encourage you to take in the attractions Docklands has to offer. From breathtaking waterside walks and around the Yarra, parkland, The District area and some of Melbourne’s finest cafes and restaurants, like a traditional Parma from Berth.
