LET'S MOVE TOGETHER FOR CEREBRAL PALSY
LET'S MOVE TOGETHER FOR CEREBRAL PALSY

In a time where we’re spending most of our days indoors and away from family and friends, it’s more important than ever to stay both active and connected. That’s why the Lucas team will be stepping up to the STEPtember challenge this September to take 10,000 steps every day for 30 days.

Not only is it great for building stronger team relationships but it also teaches us more about people living with cerebral palsy and people with disabilities. Cerebral palsy is the most common physical disability in childhood, with an Australian child diagnosed with cerebral palsy every 20 hours. Caused by damage to the developing brain either during pregnancy or shortly after birth – directly affecting a person’s movement and posture for life. Every step we take during STEPtember and every dollar raised supports a wide range of initiatives, helping people living with cerebral palsy to live their best lives.

As a virtual challenge, you can follow our progress on our STEPtember page here and join us in supporting a fantastic cause.
